Big Girl Bed
Ainsley has always been in the 90th percentile or above in height and weight. Well, that has finally caught up with us. She is too tall, and too curious to leave in her crib any longer. The girl tries to climb right out! So, we thought we could go ahead and convert her crib to a toddler bed. Right? Wrong! We apparently weren't paying very good attention when we moved because we lost the piece that we need to make the crib into a toddler bed. Lame. So I went to IKEA, hoping beyond hope that I could buy just that piece. It didn't seem likely, but I thought I would at least try. Unfortunately, while you can buy all new hardware for your crib if you lose it (yes, we did that too), you can't buy new crib pieces. Bummer. So I looked at all of the bed frames and settled on one that was very minimal and low to the ground. Once Joshua got it set up, Ainsley was pretty stoked about having her own bed. Today is the first day that she is napping at home without a crib to be found.

So far, so good...she's been sleeping soundly for about 25 minutes. We'll see how long it lasts. :)
